The famous Tivoli Gardens was opened in 1843 and is the second oldest amusement park in the world, after Dyrehavsbakken in nearby Klampenborg. In Tivoli you can find wild rides, green oases, gourmet food in its many restaurants and bars, rock concerts... From the unique shops to the fascinating architecture, this place is fun without even riding anything. Every day there is a different genre live music on one of the stages. There are 3 outdoor scenes, with lots of live music - both Danish and international artists. Every Friday throughout the summer season there is Friday Rock at the lawn. The park is lovely also at night with its soft and colorful lighting.
