Good weather, good food and nice people. The atmosphere in Barcelona is incredible. A really dynamic city, with lots of places to visits and to shop. Maybe one of the best things is how well connected and extended is the public transport (the metro arrives nearly everywhere, and it's quite fast). The beach is a must place to be (I recommend La Barceloneta beach side), though it can be really crowded on summer. Try to avoid eating a paella there, and ask locals where to find the really quality ones.

I had a great time in Lisbon last summer. Visited nearly every museum on the city (you can obtain a ticket which includes visiting many of them paying an inexpensive price). But I can strongly affirm that the architecture and the way the city is designed is more enjoyable. The streets inspire a sense of charm that makes you want to continue walking. I highly recommend eating fish on the other side of the river (not where the city centre is located). If you want to go out at night, Urban Beach will delight you.

I am a lover of big cities, and Madrid is one of my favourites. You can eat amazingly well (recommend trying Casa Lucio), and of course the typical "bocata de calamares" in Plaza Mayor. If you care about culture, there are many museums you can visit, and they are all really close from each other (Prado Museum is a must see). If not, walking through La Castellana will also delight you. The metro system works really well, and you can arrive everywhere with it (be careful with the kind of ticket you buy, you can get many discounts if you look closely). Of course is a really crowded city, but surely you'll enjoy it.
